Swing Anna Cash Wins Division of Grand Circuit Event

Dee Hotton Stable trainee, Swing Anna Cash, a New York-sired daughter of Cash Hall, won a division of the Judge Joe McGraw Arden Downs Stake race for 2-year-old trotting fillies. Buckeye Man Wins Division of OSS

Scioto Downs hosted the first leg of Ohio Sires Stakes for 3-year-old colt trotters on Sunday, July 4th, where 36 entries were divided into four divisions of 9 starters, each going for a $15,000 purse. Racetracks to Plug-in Slot Machines!

Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen and Casey Braun report that Ohio's horse-racing tracks will get video slot machines without a Novemeber election fight. That's because the LetOhioVote group that delayed the Governor's original plan for slots at the racetracks by getting a referendum on the November ballot, has abruptly pulled the issue from the November ballot.
